Couple Takes on Six Ultra Marathons Across the UK in Memory of Noah Jordan

Over the next twelve months, a couple will take on an extraordinary challenge: running six ultra marathons across the country, each progressively longer, in memory of a young boy lost too soon. Rachael and her husband Kieran have announced their mission to complete distances ranging from 40 to 100 miles, all in honour of Noah Jordan, the beloved son of their close friends, Ben and Natasha Jordan.

The first race, held on August 24, 2024, in the scenic New Forest, was a success, with the couple completing the 40-mile run in just eight hours. Their next race is scheduled for September 28, 2024, where they will tackle a 45-mile course through the rolling hills of the Chilterns.

So far, they have raised over £2500 of their £5000 target.

This ultra marathon series will support Noah’s legacy and raise awareness for preventing other young lives from being cut short by the same tragic disease.

Noah Jordan's family shares a deep bond with Rachael and Kieran, they are godparents to their daughter, Millie. Rachael has known Natasha since childhood, with their friendship dating back to nursery school, continuing through primary and secondary school.

“We’re doing this not only to remember Noah, but to hopefully, in time, help prevent other families from experiencing such heartbreak,” said Rachael.

The couple’s commitment is not only a testament to their endurance but also a heartfelt pledge to raise awareness for a valuable cause. By running ultra marathons across the UK in Noah’s memory, they aim to turn grief into action and inspire others to join in their effort.

For those looking to support their challenge, the couple will be providing updates on their progress and inviting contributions to the cause throughout the year.
